What Are the Greatest Pleasures Money Can Buy?

They say money can’t buy you happiness. I don’t know who they are, but I can assure you they never bought any of the following:

An insanely overkill milkshake.

A Nintendo 64 + Mario Kart + projector.

A Ferrari 458 Italia.

The real happiness money can buy, however, is the luxury to be able to afford any one of the above.

That’s true as much for the milkshake as it is for the Ferrari. Whichever one you think about getting right now, chances are you could afford the next lower-priced item without scraping together your last few pennies.

That means you’re rich. Not just figuratively. Literally.

You might have forgotten, because you take being able to pay your rent and food and phone and electricity and internet bills for granted, but trust me, those are all plenty good reasons to feel rich.

Because you are.

PS: You can double check how well you’re off in hard numbers compared to the rest of the world here.
