A lot of words raced through my mind. Yes. No. Thanks. Why. Abundance. The one I’ll settle on might be surprising: Here.

There are a million ways to use the word “here,” showing you’re rich on the inside. Eventually, the outside will follow.

  • I’m here.
  • Here you go.
  • Do I like it here?
  • Here’s what I’ve written today.
  • Here, let me help you.
  • Here’s an idea.
  • I’ll wait for you here.
  • Here I am, let’s go.
  • We can improve our business here, here and here.
  • Here’s my registration for the seminar.
  • Here’s the deal.
  • What can I do here?

It signals action as much as it shows presence. Here means you’re willing to give it a try, while acknowledging the context. The word is like a stake in the ground, with the intent of staying, but without sounding like a threat.

It’s hard to be delusional when you use the word “here” and it keeps you focused on what you can do right now, wherever you are.

So here you go. That’s the word that’ll make you rich.
