First of all, being an introvert doesn’t automatically mean this:

…or this…

…or this…

It simply means that on average, you spend more time here…

…than here:

However, you can still go from one end of the spectrum all the way to the other and back – within a single day. It’s one, small, very fluid part of who you are, not an all-defining, genetic feature.
That said, being an introvert is great. It feels like this…

…and this…

…and sometimes like this:

Of course you’ll also have days like this…

…or this…

or this…

And that’s just a small snapshot of all the amazing feelings we get to experience.
Introversion is a label on a box that is filled with infinite possibility.
- It means you value deep conversation over small talk.
- It means you’re always looking for the signal inside all the noise.
- It means you care about details most others don’t notice.
- It means you go deep where others go wide.
- It means you are never bored.
- It means you fall harder than others, when you fall in love.
- It means your heart remains open, long after others have shut theirs.
- It means you think before you speak.
- It means you’re okay with trusting your gut.
- It means you beat the odds.
…but in the end, above all, it means you’re human.
If it holds endless possibility, we might as well get rid of the box altogether.
Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert, understanding this is the most important thing of all.
