Which Movie Can You Watch All the Time and Never Get Tired of Watching?

Going by the movie I’ve watched the most times and can watch over and over again, the winner iiiiiiiiiiiiis: Hitch – The Date Doctor.

Why? Let me take you on a little tour.

First, it brings two of my all-time favorite actors together: Will Smith and Kevin James. Their blend of humor, sincereness and deep thought makes the movie a massive, entertaining learning experience.

Second, you can learn more from this movie about human relationships, emotions, empathy and EQ than any book, course or class could ever teach you.

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

No woman wakes up saying: “God, I hope I don’t get swept off my feet today.”

Just like the rest of us, even a beautiful woman doesn’t know what she wants until she sees it.

60% of all human communication is nonverbal. Body language. 30% is your tone. So that means that 90% of what you’re saying…ain’t coming out of your mouth.

Now she may not want the whole truth, but she does want the real you. She may not want to see it all at once, but she does want to see it.

So tonight, when you’re wondering what to say or how you look or whether or not she likes you, just remember: she is already out with you. That means she said yes when she could’ve said no.

Ask her what she thought about the show, what was her favorite photograph, why that one? And when she answers don’t be looking at her mouth, don’t be wondering what she looks like naked. Listen to what she is saying, and respond.

In case you didn’t go to high-school: hitting is a good thing.

So how does it happen? Great love? Nobody knows. But what I can tell you is that it happens in the blink of an eye.

Life is not the amount of breaths you take. It’s the moments that take your breath away.

If he’s stupid enough to cheat then the world should know he’s dumb enough to get caught.

You know kiddo, there is more to life than watching other people live it.

I think it’s great that you’re so good at your job, I’m just a little worried as to why.

You’re all about the short game. You pick your shots on what you see first, not what’s necessarily best for you in the long run.

Here’s the kicker: By the time all of these have dropped, you’re not even 10 minutes into the movie!

Third, the soundtrack is just fantastic. An upbeat, positive, fun mix of timeless classics and modern hits from jazz, pop, funk and soul.

  1. Amerie – 1 Thing
  2. John Legend – Don’t You Worry ’Bout A Thing
  3. Earth, Wind & Fire – This Is How I Feel
  4. Mark Ronson & Ghostface Killah ft. Nate Dogg, Trife & Saigon – Ooh Wee
  5. Heavy D. & The Boyz – Now That We Found Love
  6. Meleni Smith – Happy
  7. The O’Jays – Love Train
  8. The Temptations – I Can’t Get Next To You
  9. Jimmy Cliff – You Can Get It If You Really Want
  10. Martha – It’s Easy To Fall In Love (With A Guy Like You)
  11. Earth, Wind & Fire – Reasons
  12. Omarion – Never Gonna Let You Go (She’s a Keepa)
  13. Kevin Lyttle – Turn Me On
  14. Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion – Carmen Cubana

Fourth, and this is why I really, really love that movie:

If you’ve always felt like an underdog, especially when it comes to dating & relationships…

If you’re the kind of guy or gal who’s just nice for the sake of being nice, without expecting much in return…

If you sometimes get left out in the cold, because the world yet has to catch up to your level of honesty, integrity and kindness…

…then this movie will show you that doing the right thing will always remain the right thing to do, and that you will get your shot too.

It’s a little bit like the rest of the world is saying: “We love you, just like you are. We need you to be true to yourself, and we’re really glad that you’re here.”

That’s why I love Hitch and why it’s my favorite movie of all time. I highly recommend you give it a chance.
