You Are the Vast, Infinite Sea of Endless Peace

You are the vast, infinite sea of endless peace. You do not need music, films, TV, Youtube, video games, porn, or any kind of entertainment to survive. Not even to thrive. You do not need coffee, tea, soft drinks, alcohol, tobacco, weed, fast food, sweets, snacks, or treats of any kind. And you definitely don’t need more addictive, damaging, and illegal drugs than those.

All you need is real food when you’re hungry, clean water when you’re thirsty, sleep when you’re tired, and air. To be outside and feel nature, ideally every day. The only real things of value that follow? Those are up to you. Choose a handful, no more. For me, they are writing, reading, my family, and my fiancée—the people and pastimes I love most in the world.

Everything else, including your job, money, challenges with your personal goals and dreams, even the hobbies you enjoy, is noise. Noise can be fun, but it cannot make you feel at peace. Peace comes from the inside. It’s always with you.

You are the vast, infinite sea of endless peace—and nothing can disturb you.
